Converted from an old brickworks, Smithbrook Kilns was redeveloped into the site you see today in the early 1980's. One of the first things established on site was the restaurant, so Bricks Restaurant has now been proudly serving the local community for nearly 40 years!

Located in the heart of the Surrey Hills on the A281 between Guildford and Cranleigh, Smithbrook Kilns is full of wonderful shops and services. We are in a very privileged position with lovely surroundings and a peaceful outlook from the restaurant. It lends itself well for anything from birthday parties and intimate wedding venue, to christenings and funeral wakes. There is plenty of free parking onsite, you can also have our barbecue menu, and if the weather allows then your guests can also spill out onto the patios with our bi-fold doors allowing the outside in.

Now back under site management and with a fantastic new team, Bricks continues to be the hub of the site. Open from 9.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Saturday, the restaurant has a wonderful selection of breakfasts, lunches, cakes and snacks. Our menus are lovingly prepared with ingredients sourced as locally as possible and a small selection of our most treasured ingredients are also available to buy. Our coffee is selected from some of the finest beans, using a strong blend and skilled hands to create the perfect cup to enjoy either in the restaurant, or collect and take away. We are fully licenced and have a great selection of locally procured beers, ciders and wines, making us the perfect loaction for everything from a celebratory champagne afternoon tea, lunch with friends, stopping off for a respite mid bike ride (as we're not far from the downs link) to relaxing with the kids over a lazy Saturday breakfast!

 

As well as being available for private dining/party hire, we also offer a catering service for external events. Menus are very flexible and we will always do our best to accommodate specific requests.

We are the perfect pitstop if you're waiting for your pooch to be groomed, if you've arrived early for your bridal appointment or need to debrief with the bridesmaids afterwards, need somewhere to sit and mull over decisions having visited either of the fabulous jewellers on site or are waiting whilst the children are being tutored!  We are very happy for you to ask the poodle parlour to ring for you here once your dear pet is ready for collection.
